REVIEW🌸 Loreal Infallible Sculpt foundation

image

So as everyone knows contouring and sculpting the face has become so popular, it’s one of those trends that I can’t see to ever fizzle out, at least not quickly anyway.

I was interested when I looked at this product because it doesn’t say it’s a ‘foundation’ it’s says it’s a ‘contouring base’. Another thing that caught my eye is that there were only 2 shades available, light/medium and medium/dark, I did think having only two shades in the range did seem odd but then I read at the back that it adapts to you skin tone.

This foundation for me when I applied it, seemed like a good match, I’m quite pale so I was a little skeptic as to what it would look like on. It’s finish I would say it’s Demi matte, and it feels like nothing on, I wouldn’t say it was completely matte but it for sure gives off that effect.
The texture of this foundation is very light and easy to blend, the coverage is also amazing, it’s lightweight yet it still covered most of my blemishes which I was very impressed with.

This retails for £8.99 but I believe Superdrug have this on for 3 for 2 at the moment!
The one thing that I would say can be a little tricky with this product, is because of the limited shades, it’s quite difficult to tell if it will be suitable for everyone’s undertones, some may find that it’s not enough yellow toned or cool toned for them.

I wore this foundation all day yesterday, and it did start to get oily in my t zone (I have combination skin) but it didn’t cling to any of my dry patches which is great. If you have really oily skin you may find this a bit too much, but it depends how it works on your skin!

I really enjoyed wearing this foundation, I think the price is good and for saying that it’s a lightweight foundation, it’s 100% build-able and gives a lovely finish! ❤️

REVIEW🌸 B Range Popping Candy Highlight Serum

image

I was so so excited to try this when I saw this is superdrug! I won’t lie, the packaging and the fact that it said ‘popping candy’ are what first caught my attention.
I’m always on the look out for something that gives my skin a glow that I could incorporate into my everyday make up routine (don’t get me wrong I love slapping on the highlighter for when I’m going out out!!!!) but for in general, I wanted something a little more toned down and natural so that I could put it under foundation. This serum can be used under foundation or over the top as a normal highlight.

When applied on its own as you can see in the bottom left hand side of the picture, it gives you a nice amount of glow, I then applied my foundation over it (bottom right hand side of pic) and it still gave such a lovely payoff. It made my skin look bright and fresh and felt so weightless on the skin. The only thing is, I’m not to keen on the scent of this, it smells slightly of baby food, but it’s not overpowering.

This was on offer when I purchased it for £7.49 and it usually retails for £14.99 so I couldn’t say no! I can feel this serum becoming a part of my daily routine, I have combination skin and it doesn’t stick to my dry patches nor does it make me look more oily than usual. I love the fact that in the bottle it looks like popping candy and then when squeezed out its goes into a paste like consistency, then into a gorgeous glowy base.
I’m not too sure if I would pay £14.99 for this because it’s tipping into more high end and I feel that there could be cheaper alternatives, however, it’s such a stunning product and I am in loveeee! ❤️

REVIEW 🌸 Anastasia Beverly Hills Lustrous Lipgloss set

Anastasia Beverly Hills Lustrous Lip Gloss Set 🌸
Okay guys I really couldn’t wait any longer for this to go up because I am so so happy with these!! Colours are (starting from the upper arm down to the wrist) : guilded, metallic rose, weekend barbie, socialite, date night, sunset strip, dainty and black cherry.
When I was first looking online, I wanted to get the ABH liquid lipsticks but realised they were quite expensive individually. Whilst I was searching, I came across this holiday set on beautybay for £33 and I couldn’t believe it! I think it’s out of stock online at the moment, so I’m glad I grabbed it when I could! But before I decided to get these, I was a little hesitant as they were lipglosses and I didn’t think they were going to be very pigmented and that they were going to feel sticky, and oh boy was I wrong. When I received them, the colours looked stunning, even without swatching them but just by looking, they still looked gorgeous. When I applied them they felt very soft and comfortable on the lips, and I didn’t feel that stickiness to them. Then I realised the colour pigmentation, some of these could honestly pass as liquid lipsticks(other than the fact that they are glossy) especially the colours dainty, black cherry and socialite. You will not be disappointed on the pigmentation of some of these! ❤️
The brush for these glosses are dofer applicators which I was so happy about because this for me, makes it easier to apply and you can really work the colour on to the lips.
I wore dainty for about 2/3hours yesterday and it still looked great, but I’m not sure about all day because they are glosses, they tend to come off more easily because of the texture, however, the colour stayed on my lips and held its place for that period of time. With some of the glosses such as sunset strip, they give off a more sheen look because they are more glitter based, but you can still see the effect that it gives whilst showing your natural lip colour, which is fab for everyday wear and for something a little more special.
I would say that this set is a complete bargain, and I feel there is something for everyone! ❤️ #review #anastasiabeverlyhills #instablogger
