So as everyone knows contouring and sculpting the face has become so popular, it’s one of those trends that I can’t see to ever fizzle out, at least not quickly anyway.
I was interested when I looked at this product because it doesn’t say it’s a ‘foundation’ it’s says it’s a ‘contouring base’. Another thing that caught my eye is that there were only 2 shades available, light/medium and medium/dark, I did think having only two shades in the range did seem odd but then I read at the back that it adapts to you skin tone.
This foundation for me when I applied it, seemed like a good match, I’m quite pale so I was a little skeptic as to what it would look like on. It’s finish I would say it’s Demi matte, and it feels like nothing on, I wouldn’t say it was completely matte but it for sure gives off that effect.
The texture of this foundation is very light and easy to blend, the coverage is also amazing, it’s lightweight yet it still covered most of my blemishes which I was very impressed with.
This retails for £8.99 but I believe Superdrug have this on for 3 for 2 at the moment!
The one thing that I would say can be a little tricky with this product, is because of the limited shades, it’s quite difficult to tell if it will be suitable for everyone’s undertones, some may find that it’s not enough yellow toned or cool toned for them.
I wore this foundation all day yesterday, and it did start to get oily in my t zone (I have combination skin) but it didn’t cling to any of my dry patches which is great. If you have really oily skin you may find this a bit too much, but it depends how it works on your skin!
I really enjoyed wearing this foundation, I think the price is good and for saying that it’s a lightweight foundation, it’s 100% build-able and gives a lovely finish! ❤️
